This web site uses three domains to best reach out to potential customers. There is also a personal Database management system tailored to the company's needs. This DBMS was custom made to keep track of jobs done over time. Company     Harrison Township, Michigan Status     Portfolio Project Started     November 2003 Domains     None (Official is harrison-township.org) Services     Hosted Local Description     The first ever official web site for Harrison Township, Michigan. This was a class project from Pankow Voc-Tech Center. Steve Swensen and his Pankow design group designed and tested the Harrison site from his server. When the site was turned over to Harrison Township the board members edited and tore apart the site effectively destroying it. The board then enlisted a non-profit group to build a new site. The Harrison site in this link is the first and original Pankow version before it was handed over to the township. Company     PMI Inspection Services Status     Active Project Started     Design: April - November 2004 Domains     pmiinspections.com Services     Basic Hosting Description     PMI Investigation Services is a local St. Clair Shores building inspection company. This was (and still is) a project for Pankow Voc-Tech Center. This site was designed by the Lasglade web team. Company     Shapes Salon Status     Portfolio Project Started     Spring 2004 Domains     None (Official is shapes-salon.com) Services     Hosted Local Description     The Shapes Salon was a class project from Pankow. A professional company came to our class and asked us to build this site. Which didn't matter, because the person that came to us already had the entire site done. So we were actually just re-creating their site. We were provided with the flash we were to use, and asked to design a showcase. The showcase on this site is our design. After working on it, they already had a showcase done. So this site is listed here as a display to a site we did. The version that was already done is listed at shapes-salon.com. Company     Job Creuse America (BPA 2004) Status     Portfolio Project Started     November 2003 - March 2004 Domains     None Services     Hosted Local Description     Job Creuse America was a Business Professionals of America (BPA) competition web site designed by Steve Swensen from the 2004 BPA Web Design Team. The criteria was to design a web site to help users obtain a job or a job interview. As a bonus, the team added a custom job search page that would search a database for keywords entered by the user. Company     Pankow Voc-Tech Store (BPA 2005) Status     Portfolio Project Started     November 2004 - March 2005 Domains     None Services     Hosted Local Description     This web site was another BPA competition web site. The designer on this was Mathew Berger (of Lasglade Designs) and his Pankow BPA web team. This web site took first place regional's over seven other sites and qualified to go Grand Rapids, Michigan for state competitions.
